The world’s most distinguished ultra-rare whisky auction, the Distillers One of One, is set to take place at Hopetoun House near Edinburgh on Thursday, 5 October 2023 as it hosts its second edition auction.
Launched in 2021, The Distillers One of One brings together an unparalleled collection of one-off, never-to-be-repeated Scotch whiskies from distilleries across the length and breadth of Scotland.
The inaugural auction's phenomenal success is a testament to the collective passion and commitment of all involved. The 2021 auction raised £2.4 million, assisting nearly 500 disadvantaged young people from across Scotland, of whom over half are now in employment or further education, thanks to The Distillers’ Charity.

For this year's auction, 36 whisky brands & donors, a blend of both new and established names, will contribute a total of 39 lots. These donor brands are categorised into three tiers: Founders, Members, and Associates. Among them, 13 are returning “Founder” Donor brands. Each brand is set to donate a unique, one-time lot for the auction, with values spanning from £5,000 to £500,000.
